In my last post I talked a little bit about how pregnancy had taken to kicking my ass, and at my last doctor's appointment my doctor let me know that the score was now pregnancy 1, Erin 0, and it was time to go on medical leave. Sciatica, rib pain, diabetes, as well as typically pregnancy symptoms were making functioning at work near impossible.
So here I am, it is officially day two of my leave and I am learning what relaxing is. I think the hardest part of my leave is just being off and not being allowed (or really even physically able) to do a hell of a lot. I have always been more of a busy body versus a sit still kinda girl, but many of my regular activities have been nixed from my to do list (I can't even really walk Bear our dog without supervision).
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind being on leave, I will do anything for my little guy. I'm just slightly overwhelmed at being off for the weeks leading up to baby boy's arrival, when I'm not 100% sure how to fill my days.
So, that got me to thinking, if I've always loved lists, why not create a list of things I'd like to do before baby arrives.
I'd love your help as well- from any moms out there, what do you wish you had done prior to your baby coming? Keep in mind, my activities need to basically have limited to no physical activity and truth be told cant require a lot of standing or sitting (I know, what the hell do you do hahaha).
Here is what I am thinking so far:
I love to cook, entertain, craft and create - all while being a wife, friend, daughter and a mom to a little boy.
